Dear indexing volunteer, We are constantly striving to improve your experience with indexing. On Monday, we updated the FamilySearch indexing application and Web site. Several new and improved features were introduced during this update. Batch sharing is one of our favorite new features. It allows indexers, arbitrators, administrators, and support personnel to collaborate on a single batch. An indexer (or arbitrator) can get answers to specific questions about his or her batch by allowing someone else to download and view the same batch. To learn more about this feature and the others to be released, click here. To open the indexing application: Go to the FamilySearch indexing Web site (http://indexing.familysearch.org). Click the Start Indexing button. Do not use your desktop icon to open the application for the first time. If you happen to start the application from the icon and then encounter any issues or errors, please close the application, and then go back to the Web site and click the Start Indexing button.
